Call your dealer. They have the most up-to-date information. I've shown that BMW Canada does NOT have the most up to date information after this morning, telling me that my vehicle is still in production.

Just checked with my salesperson.
He said mine is arriving either today or tomorrow by latest. Then he will put the winter tires as per my request, and hopefully if everything goes well, I should be able to arrange a delivery before end of this week ( = Saturday). I will post updates. |

And I am in status 190!! The dealer is saying it'll arrive in two to three weeks!
What does 190 actually mean in relation to Spartanburg? Just from the factory to being loaded on an actual train/truck or actually in transit? I know for overseas it would mean being delivered to the actual port - Bremerhaven (BMW) or Southampton (MINI). (What, traditionally, is the time line between shipping from Spartanburg and the Concorde Rail Yard in Vaughn?) Last edited by mathan416; 12-12-2017 at 10:48 AM.. |

I have updated the spreadsheet based upon the information that members have posted. I have also updated the image at the top of this thread.
I am cautions about extrapolating from BMWX3Driver's experience. One month from production to delivery is a week longer than the historical norm for Spartanburg. |

11-17 assembly 12-08 (initial) estimated delivery So, the original timeline is about 3 weeks and is exactly in line with the historical norm. |

No solid estimates from the dealer but I'm hoping by the end of the month.

Transformation Project Needed
Quote:
1) They have been promising a track your order service like that from BMW North America for 9 years. 2) The Canadian subsidiary has a revolving door of CEOs so there is no time to conclude projects and so no accountability 3) They have provided dealers and customers with incorrect information during the latest 7 series, 5 series and now X3 launches 4) Corporately they have relatively accurate tracking information (within 24 hours). But they do not seem to consider that it is important to share it with customers. Instead we are directed to the CA who needs to look it up on BMW`s system. Rather than simply saying, sorry we do not provide that information to customers they muddle along providing out of date information. 5) There is no build option for a 6 series GT. I had assumed that they were not yet available. But no, they are in dealer`s lots. Dealers are not selling them because customers are not aware of them. The X1 has recently disappeared from the build site too. 6) At times we can`t renew services like roadside assistance or connected drive at BMW Canada but instead have to go to the dealer. (Apparently that has now changed). BMW Canada would benefit from a customer centric and dealer friendly transformation project. |

The extra ">" under Build & Price and Find Out More does not exude confidence in web development or design. When scrolling down on the X3 page, it always resets me to the top. Obviously no one did QA on the page. All the info on the page, content-wise, is all about the M40i, which while it'a an awesome vehicle, not every one wants an M40i. Of course, there is the lack of information about what makes up various packages too, in a clear and concise manner. I could go on and on. I'd be happy to clean up the site for them (for a salary or hey, an M40i. *GRIN*) |

It would be odd that our cars are not on the same rail car. Our build date is one day apart. I'm guessing your status is not updated yet. The day I got my production number the automated line was telling me it was already in transit!

Salesperson said my car is at the dealer now.
He will have the winter tires installed, clean up, should be ready Friday afternoon or by latest Saturday for pick up. |

So it literally took 11 days by rail and then Hansen's to get the the dealer. Which dealer did you purchase through? Policaro here. |
