If you have the all digital dash (which it sounds like you don’t…?), it’s super easy. I have OBDLink CX and Bimmercode (I also have an Ethernet cable and connector as well… switch back and forth depending on what I need to do). The options to do this are in the Basic mode menus. Quick and painless.

Drove it! First time I’ve gone more than a couple miles in a month with the X3 thanks to the traffic gridlock in my driveway.

Do you by any chance know any videos showing how it’s done? I’d really appreciate it! I’m still learning what all this stuff means, it’s so foreign to me but that display you posted is perfect to me lol

I got it from autunik.com. Quality isn’t bad, fit could be a little better. Took around 35 days to get once the order was placed.

Put on some wheel locks and surprise surprise!

Luckily it caught the tread and was not deep enough. No air coming out, just a small crater in my new tires 😥

Didn't do anything to the m40i today but I did bring my wife's front passenger tire over to the tire shop to get it changed due to a nail...

The tire dude walked up to my m40i then stopped halfway and said he thought it was a Durango and then scoffed that it was a bmw 💀😆

I picked it up from the detailing shop where it got a fresh clean after the winter. I also got my summer set of wheels installed.

are you running an x3m style rear diffuser? local shop wasn't able to install the quad tips i got with the kit...so now i'm looking for a new shop that can help with the install.

Got my M40d back from the paint shop, the rear mid spoiler started to have tiny bubbles come through the paint. It was a AliExpress purchase from China, so I half expected the quality to be sub standard, all good now though.

Gave my M Sport seats a little add-on for additional comfort. Took a rear seat cushions from the 7 series G70, added a black elastic strap to it, and voila. These seats are great, but I like to have something to rest my neck on.

It looks ridiculous in photos, but in person, it’s great. And it’s extra comfy.

Is that something I can buy or do shops do that? I live in Raleigh NC?
Any links to purchase? I no longer have digital readout.

Hi guys.
First post here, but I've been following since I got my first BMW, after many years as a fan and owner of many cars from the VW Group (many Audi and a Porsche).

Trying to improve some things in the interior of my 2020 X3 M40i.

Black piano center console is a pain to keep dust free, fingerprints free and scratches free...

And the standard aluminum trim is a bit boring...

Edit: That's fake carbon fiber on the center console.. I'll probably get rid of it. Just trying to decide what to do as I'm afraid full black suede wont look good. Will probably try some dark gray suede for some contrast
