Does anyone know if these would fit my 21' X3 M40i daily?

They're my old 22' M3 Comp wheels I had made since I got new wheels on there... It's probably a no but doesn't hurt to ask.

20x10 ET12, 20x11 ET14

Tire plan would be 265/40/20, 295/35/20 to keep within the 1% margin and what not.

I have a feeling the offsets are way too aggressive but doesn't hurt to ask.

Curious if you went with this or not? 275/40r20 & 315/35r20

I'm in the market for tires and wanting to add some width from the current set up of 245/45r20 & 275/40r20. I have 20 inch MRR wheels 20x9 et 20 in front and 20x10.5 et 30 in rear.

275/40r20 & 315/35r20 sounds pretty sweet but feeling like 265/40 and 295/35 is much more achievable...thoughts?

275/40 & 315/35 works and there are a few members running this fitment. Looks super aggressive and thick in the rear (lol)

275 is not too wide for 20x9 rim? Seeing some "recommendations" that 265 is the widest you should go on 9 inch wide rim....

Yeah that’d be pushing it and wouldn’t look aesthetically appealing imo

9” wide is the absolute minimum for a 275 but it’s apparently done fairly often

Tire manufacturers have it as being acceptable on many of the brands I looked at recently

I mean, the rears shouldn't be a problem...if you have a good tire shop close by (Discount Tire, for me), I'd pop in and ask the guys to look it over. If you do decide to upgrade and issues arise, you can return them for a smaller width. Do you have the M Sport Differential??

Lower number is the tire width / is the percentage of the height

If you want more road feel and traction, go with the higher number (255 285).

I understand it. I'm wondering if 245 tires will be narrow for 9 inch wheels or is it better to buy 255? Which is more optimal for the front axle?

255 are usually a better fit for 9" wheels but also depends on brand as some run a bit narrower/wider. I'm running 255 Continentals with 9" wheels up front.
Take a look at tiresize.com has plenty info on tires from different brands.

Hi man, just picked up a 2020 x3m40i and want to put these BBS sx wheels on. What was the offset on these? Is this a square or staggered set-up?
thanks a bunch!

Nice wheels. I've been thinking of getting some nice looking set and paint them same color as the M5 CS wheels. Should look nice on Tanzanite blue

Ok...these are from a seller on alibaba..2 piece forged 6061 wheels in custom spec by me. 20x9.5 +18, 20x11 +35 in brushed bronze lip and flat black centers.

Same manufacturer that some name branded sellers use. 1800 for the wheels and 400 bucks for boat and ups door to door shipping from china.
After shopping for new wheels and seeing prices we'll over the 3k mark for just one piece forged wheels before custom specs..I took a leap of faith.

Will I die? Who knows but the money I saved can be used towards a nicer coffin if these wheels fall apart. Once they arrive I will check torque on the hardware and see how it goes...lol.

Also just got the custom center caps.

Sick ass wheels!

I was so heavily invested in going this route but chickened out lol

Glad you were able to pull the trigger and can't wait to see your review of them. It very well may be the route I will take after I get tired of my HF-5s. 👍

I was also on the fence about buying non branded wheels, but seeing how much it is for the ones I really want---HRE were 15k+ for them and to be used as a daily and get beaten up, I'd rather go to the casino and shoot dice with that cash and gamble on cheaper wheels. If this was cast wheels from the 90's and 2000's then sure I wouldn't touch them.

There have been so many new pop up companies selling custom multi piece forged wheels for what seems to be an avg markup, you know they found a supplier overseas.

Not all of them are going to buy new C&C machines or whatever the greatest and best is and only make a small profit margin on selling custom made wheels. There have been a few people on these forums who have also purchased and had a great outcome.

Anyway the company made me measure multiple times to confirm fitment, and had our brake clearance specs on file before milling the new wheels.

https://youtube.com/shorts/KkjbkmV16w4

Don't get me wrong one day I will have a new set of HRE's but not for my daily. TBH for the same price if buying a set from like tire rack, I'd rather this.

https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...4cd174a3sRJN4B They used my wheels in their listing...lol they got me on UPS shipping cheaper than in the listing.
