That total number of unsold vehicles in your state doesn't mean much. You don't know how many of those BMW sold in your state or other states. For comparison, in 150 miles radius in South Florida (incl. Miami) I only found 64 unsold X3M/X4M. I bet most of these vehicles will be sold over the upcoming holidays (with better discounts). Also, BMW thinks that X3M will become their most popular M model, so I think they went ahead and produced a ton of them (in comparison to Macan Turbo, Stelvo QF, Jaguar F-PACE SVR and so on).

Local dealers were sitting on a pile of these cars through all of October but looks like they've started to move a few out... like 6 out of 20 that I've been tracking.
