X3 Noob Looking at this 2016 35i with 75k miles $21.5k all in

It was sold as a CPO with 3k miles and has been registered in Florida since new. No damage on Carfax. No records available. Fully loaded, appears to be in great condition and drives better than the 2019 X3 I just had as a loaner the last week.

Is price fair?

I'm an E90 driver, so I am out of my element seeking some input from you guys.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not up on the current used market/pricing. Do yourself a big favor if you get serious about a purchase and pay an independent mechanic to perform a pre-purchase inspection, money in the bank on used Bimmer purchase.

BMW N America has national database with detailed service records (performed during factory warranty period) on every vehicle sold - ask this dealer/seller to get the records, I'm quite certain they are able.

Good luck/Bill

Mileage is not very high lol wut.

I wouldn't touch it unless it has a stack of service records including stuff like diffs, TC, tranny, etc. At that mileage you want the last owner to have been meticulous to minimize your risk as the new owner.

That said, it's an incredible deal if everything checks out. My 2017 with ~60K on the clock fetches $30K or so KBB.

Mileage is of no consequence, I purchased my 2014 x3 with 95k with confidence after a presale inspection with a BMW dealer. Owners cared well for it but don't expect diff oils or trans oil to have been changed as I recall they were not recommended items that the dealer took care of. I think you have a great deal but I personally would look for an M Sport, the seats were a requirement for me being 6'.

ZF recommends servicing their trans by 60K and not all owners just go by the dealer recommended schedule.

IMHO that is high mileage for the year but not terribly high for the car. My '14 with that mileage cost $15K this summer and it run great. I had the water pump switched out and had to have the charge pipe replaced (under warranty). Frankly if all a BMW is good for is 100K miles they aren't worth owning. Check the serial number on mdecoder to see what options the car comes with. Looking at the car is say IS price is 18K.
