They seem to be exclusive to the X4 per the press release. I'd be thrilled if they open them to the x3 though.
I'm talking about buying them separately, hopefully they are offered.

Not mud flaps. Its a regulation of some sort about how much of the tire is covered by the body or something like that. A lot of new cars seem to have it.

What you state is one distinct benefit for the Pre LCI F97/F98. I guess I'll hold on to mine until I go X5M or XB7 the latter being what I really want next.

Plus the same colors offered as for true M? Brooklyn Grey too?

Before LCI I was leaning towards X3MC or X4MC, but given the development after the LCI was announced, I am having a hard time to justify the extra cost over M40i with the tune. S58, quad exhaust tips and illuminated logo on M sport seats?
Never thought I would say this but after 20 years of exclusive BMW support I may consider taking my business elsewhere.

What upgrades could you steal from this and retrofit on the current outgoing model?

Do you think the bigger 12.3 inch display would be an easy retrofit?

Just the taillights. That's probably the only really easy and cheap(er) one.

I really love those new taillights. I think it is what modernizes the car more than anything.
