Thanks for sharing. Had to make some assumptions as you didn't mention specifics this time around, so kept the tire psi, octane, and tank vol the same as before. Once again calculated the DA using timeanddate and dragtimes. Had to look back at the xHP thread [ https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1941678 ] as I haven't really been following that one, but think I found your setting after you flashed the trans tune 31 July (posts 26 and 30). Would be helpful to know what wheels and tires you've got for reference as well.

Edit 22 Aug 2022, 1133AM: Updated goldfz8 's personal log with the additional info he gave in the next post...

And the weight reduction! The VS Forged shed a ton of rotational mass from the heavy stock wheels. That's a blistering fast stock tune time

No doubt tire diameter and tire/wheel weight make a significant difference in acceleration - just have no idea quantitatively how much. I've started a thread to summarize tire/wheel combinations of F97/98 Members as an ongoing project, but only a fraction have shared actual weights so far.

But once higher speeds are reached (would need wind tunnel/CFD data but guessing over ~ 60mph), no doubt these larger tires and different tread and wheel designs cause changes in aerodynamic drag. Lots of data online indicating 25-33% of total vehicle drag comes from the tires/wheels. No way we'll be able to sort that out, but for those interested in high speed performance its a key variable they seem concerned about...

Here's a sample from the Tire/Weights thread https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...1#post29267911 (appreciation to those providing the data):

Current Number of Combinations with known Weights: 41
Current Number of Combinations pending weights: 30

Just adding to the data.

Second time on the day using Launch control. Stage 1 93 octane tune with throttle closures from 2500-4200 RPM, managed to pull a 11.55
Thanks for sharing your slip, Dawgz . Here's a prelim snapshot of your personal log sheet I've started, to which I'll add your future runs when shared.

As your thumb is blocking the date and time on your slip I can't research the temp/%H/mmHg to calculate the DA, and would be great to know what tires/psi you were running, do you have moonroof and/or spare, and tank volume?

I'll hold off adding this run to the overall St1 Leaderboard since you had throttle closure issues, but will add your fastest in the future to that sheet when submitted.

Hey Max, I just edited the post and put a different pic up with the full shot of the slip.

I was running 32PSI in the front, 35 PSI in the rear on the 21" Comp wheels

I do have a moonroof, panoramic and do have a spare in the tank. Tank had 10 gallons of 93 octane and 2 gallons of E85 (E80).

Perfect, here's your completed log sheet. I'll keep adding to this with your future submissions and take your fastest to place on the St1 Leaderboard going forward.

I placed the link to the Leaderboards as well as a link to my Draggy vs Formal Slip analysis in the first post (OP) to make them more easily located, but it is at post #386: https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showp...&postcount=386

Numbers weren't good with DAs over +1800, and 0-60' times were terrible with best of only 1.913s, despite new PS4S and 3 runs with different tire psi. Haven't had a chance to analyze the interval times in the spreadsheet yet and compare with previous runs, but as octane was ~97 have to question whether plugs are going after 27K miles with best time of 12.081s and that was with a worse 0-60'.

But wanted to share some images to inspire others to at least try a day at a Strip if you haven't before - always a fun time and a chance to meet other Enthusiasts with shared interests in the Staging lanes.

We have a new All-Class and St2 Leader - congratulations, jairomvp182

I'm attaching your updated personal log, as well as the revision of the All Class and St2 sheets (and I'll update the main log page with these two in a minute).

Thanks for contributing!

I just realized I never cross posted this from my build thread. Here is my fastest pass back in June 2022.

My current setup:
- F80 Paul Stage 1 E60 tune
- RK Tunes front mount intakes
- 21' BC Forged RZ01's with 265/295 Michelin PS4S
- Passenger and rear seats pulled out

The timeslip and dragy for DA purposes are at the end of the video.

We have a new All Class Leader - congratulations, @BrockDM!

Here's your updated logbook (as I try to keep that at 8 runs for display purposes I deleted your slowest of the group) and the new All Class and St1 Leaderboards. I kept your tire psi and tank vol the same as I didn't see otherwise. *Note that given the accuracy and precision of your Dragy values with your time slip I placed the absent track 1000' time point with a roughly equal time diff in that segment so we don't have blank interval times.*

I'll also update the Master classes spreadsheet post as well.

Thanks for contributing!

@Max Well, even though I'm not on this list I wanted to say thank you for your time and effort creating, coordinating and updating this database for all of us to reference. It's invaluable info for all of us who enjoy drag racing and to gear-heads in general.

Very well done&very much appreciated!!!

Thanks, Oldgixxer, and hope you get a chance to head to a Strip sometime so I can start your own personal log!

You're very welcome.

Insomnia is a horrible thing, however it does have it's benefits occasionally;after some digging around on the Interwebz at 2am I found an NHRA 1/4mi track (it's mostly 1/8mi tracks in cornfields in my surrounding area otherwise) within 100mi.

Carolina Dragway The House Of Hook has a T&T every Thursday evening so I'm definitely going to check it out. Been awhile so I have to check my helmet and see if it expired and then plan accordingly. Can't wait!!!

Thank you brother! Tire pressures were a little lower, 36F / 33R
