Don't really get the comparison. But I'll definitely be using the quote "a hammer blow to the solar plexus of physics" to describe my car from now on

Seems to have pretty well summed up our car, but I'm not at all understanding "it’s possibly too potent to actually be fun" referring to the X3M. That sentence sounds like a contradiction in terms. I have fun in my X3MC because it IS potent and I can still haul stuff inside. Went by my dealer today to retrieve my PS4s from storage to ship to the States next week. All 4 fit, seats down, with room to spare. M3/4/5 couldn't do that. Yeah, they'd all slaughter me on the track, but if I do end up there, it'll only be for my own enjoyment.

All four of my track tires/wheels (275/35-18 on 18x10, 305/35-18 on 18x11) fit vertically in the back seat of my M4. With two more doors, it's even easier for my wife's track tires/wheels, same sizes, in the back seat of her M3. Plenty of room left in the trunk for the floor jack, tools, spare brake pads, helmet, and suitcase.

Impressive. I stand corrected!

I could also fit 4 track tires on my past e92 m3... 6MT and last of the naturally aspirated v8’s. They should include the new Audi rs6 Avant

The result is a family-sized SUV that will tear your face off. Provoke the throttle with most of the performance settings turned up, and the X3M will step its tail out and then claw at the pavement, rocketing forward with enough pace to shame some of the best BMWs of the past.
.
Lol... I stepped it out a bit on my test drive

On the track,....the X3M was easily able to reel in the likes of the smaller M2. It’s an outright brawler, a hammer blow to the solar plexus of physics.
Quite interesting, I wonder if it was an m2c..

Bit of a silly comparison - not even a full fat C63 estate!

"It’s essentially far too fast for street use. On the track, where most owners won’t actually take it, the X3M was easily able to reel in the likes of the smaller M2. It’s an outright brawler, a hammer blow to the solar plexus of physics."

Interestingly this was also the paragraph that stuck with me
