I love Akebono brake pads...almost no dust and great braking performance.

I did a thing...had a paint shop sand the black plastic smooth and then painted with the proper paint code. A little custom had to be done at the front end, but overall fit well. From Ikon motorsports via ebay.

Bought this '17 35i a few weeks back. Love the Carbon Black metallic. Hate that it shows all of the paint flaws. Some dealership detailer hacked the paint up, so I had to break out my polisher and do some correction. A few before/afters:

Purchased Michelin Primacy MXM4 in 245/50/18 to replace worn out Pirelli Cinturatos. Very happy with these tires! Car feels great in cornering and planted on higher speeds.

Gas station pic, had to fill up while "Tmobile Tuesday" is still has the 25 cents off per gal promo at Shell

Gonna try out a new resonator soon (when weather cools). New one will be a 6 inch long resonator vs 10 inch. We'll see how it goes!

evilchargerfan, you have been one very busy guy during the virus, haven't you? You're work shows, your X looks fantastic! I like the ricer tips, the little bit of blue against the chrome is well placed and looks really nice on a white car. Keep modding your X, you're helping the economy

Yes, I installed it myself, the only instructions out there are on youtube. I used the screws that came with the kit instead of rivets seen in youtube. And I fabbed a piece for the front as that is a little different on m-sport. I like it and its easier for my 3-yr old to get in the backseat.

Nice, I want to get one for my White M sport as well. But bit confused by how to install it. I saw some with two metal brackets to be installed at the end. But looks like this one only use rivets/ secrews.

1) what do you mean by the front is different on m sport?
2) With only Rivets/ screws, Do you think it is strong enough for adult?

The front wheel trim and front end of the rocker panel is different on m-sport...basically no place for the two screws to go, so I fabbed another piece to make the connection.

Yes, it holds an adult, but I would not bounce on it...the center support is just thick plastic. If I had to do it over again, I would drill a slightly larger hole in the bracket then the screw hole in the frame to reduce risk of the plastic cracking.

Replaced spark plugs and coil pack via FCPEURO. I have Bootmod3 and after installing plugs/coils....reflashed back to stock.

Drove around for a bit and realized how gooooood a Bootmod3 flash. I re-flashed back to 91 octane Stage 1 and selected "reset adaptations".

Wowwww..... I had never reset adaptations via the Bootmod3 when I first installed the product. My little 4 cylinder turbo really does haul azzzzzzzzzzzz now.

in case anyone cares to see what its like to reset the oil service within bmw carly app:

NOTE: the car has 118k on the clock, and has its oil changed a total of 9 times. that comes out to an average of 13k per oil change interval. it seems the prev owners followed the oil warnings (I believe it goes off every 14k?)

I'll be lowering this average, and will probably be doing 6k to 7k intervals. Will also be interesting to see the results of the UOA from black stone labs

once this whole covid thing is over, I suspect I'll slow down and resume a more normal (translation = boring) life

wish you were closer, we had so much leftover (both wine, and cheese). I could use some help eating/drinking it all!

essentially, its a fan. and you can load ice/water in the tank below. and it blows a mist towards ya as you work in a hot garage. super handy for people who live in hot climates similar to my area, we're looking at 100 to 109 degrees all week. it really makes things more comfy!

Wow that is very cool! I’m looking into this one! Does it significantly lower temp in your work area? The area I work in is really open
