Audio upgrade options from stock 676

Hi, i kindly request your advice to upgrade audio, currently i have hifi 676 audio, i have been searching in forums and have these 2 options:
1) upgrade to DSP amplifier Match up7 bmw (835 usd), Upgrading Sub to Harman kardon (200 usd) and match stage 1 ( front door speakers and tweeters). Total
Price about 1200 usd for this option
2) retrofit Harman Kardon option 688 surround. Cost about 1200 usd installation included.
