M logo peeling

I've had my car for under 2 weeks now, I noticed white near the X3 M badge at the centre console, I thought maybe it was plastic protective but the paint began to peel away.

What should I do, who do I contact at BMW and my dealer isn't local. Any help is much appreciated.

Need to post new pictures, can't see anything.

Edit: now I can

That's interesting to see and disappointing. Hope the rest of the car doesn't fall apart

This shouldn't be there at the first place, take it out.

Would just send these images to your Sales Team/Service Advisors at your Dealership and ask their advice. Inexpensive fix no matter how you look at it. Doubt they will try to argue that you scratched it, etc. I've never done an interior de-badge ( ) but I've done a number of exterior ones and it's really easy to do. They'll probably just send you new ones so no worries. And this doesn't reflect on the quality of the build.

I believe that is the custom logo for the M Club of Idaho.

Sorry. Bad.

That's pretty weak. I hope it's just a defective label and not a sign of cost cutting.

It absolutely reflects the built quality. Assuming this is not physical damage on the M emblem in that location by OP. If it simply started peeling off and OP noticed it on a brand new car this is a part of everything BMW stands for. Proper luxury with proper build quality. And come to think of it, it should happen on any other brand new item that a consumer purchases. Wear and tear some time down the road can be argued on what someone considered an allowable time for a item to have a potential for wear.
