First minor door ding

Well that didn't take long
Just noticed it this morning. Not a huge ding. More of a small paint chip.
My question is. I'm trying to get some touch up paint online. Like dr color hip or something along those lines. Most don't have 2020 models yet. If I go back to 2018 x5m donington grey is available. But is it any different from the current donington grey?

Before I buy the kit if anyone has any experience kindly pass it along. Thanks!!!

Hart to tell from a photo but before using touch up paint I would try a mild polish to see how much you can take away if a lot of it is just clear coat scratches as touch up paint is more for chips than scratches. If you don't feel comfortable doing that take it to a quality detailer. If there's a dent a good PDR guy can make it disappear.

I would echo heavyD^2 comments. Take it to a professional detailer. They have the experience to deal with these (at the end of the day) minor issues.

It's pretty deep no dent but the paint is clearly chipped away. I can try buffing it first but I will need some kind of touch up paint to pull out the chip.

Rule of thumb is to run a fingernail over it. If you can feel it or catch it with the fingernail, then it will need touch up. Why not see if your dealer has touch up?
