Which iDrive do i have?

2020 X3 M40 with Executive package. Production date of 11-15-19; took delivery of the car yesterday. Monroney sticker says "...Navigation with iDrive 6.0"

I thought the new cars were getting iDrive 7 ???

In EU cars manufactured after September/October-ish have Live Cockpit Professional and iDrive 7. Are you saying you still have iDrive 6 in yours?

I honestly don't know. What would I look for to identify ID 6 vs ID 7?

The Monroney (MSRP Sticker in the US) states LiveCockpit Plus with iDrive 6.0, touchpad controller, 8.8" touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, natural voice operation, connected package pro, Live Cockpit Pro (incl navi)

I suppose it's possible the Monroney is incorrect, but it has all the equipment listed I ordered and the correct VIN.... so it's likely accurate.

Only live cockpit should have idrive 7, in Europe bmw is charging for live cockpit so if you didn't buy that option you should have 6. Mine arrived last month with idrive 6.

This is how your dashboard should look like if you have 7:

If it looks like the ones below (2012/2015) you should have i6.

Are you sure that's what the Monroney says? LiveCockpit Plus and Live Cockpit Pro are two different things.
Plus = iDrive 6
Pro = iDrive 7

Plus comes without Nav and a with a 8.8" touchscreen.
Pro comes with Nav and with a 10.25" touchscreen.

So do you have Nav?

Live Cockpit Plus has 8,8'' screen and iDrive 6. Live Cockpit Professional has 12,3'' screen and iDrive 7. That's also the case for Europe.

Yes. It comes standard in some countries, optional in others.

The sticker already said it. Executive package contains Live Cockpit Pro, which comes with ID7.

Thanks to all. It's nice to know how the car was built, but it's unfortunate BMW's own Monroney specifically claims the car has iDrive 6.0 and a 8.8" touchscreen. I'm sure I'm not the first (or last) customer to be perplexed by BMW NA's sloppy work on the MSRP window sticker.

No one else is going to say this and I mean this in the most polite way possible but you're reading the BMW manufacturer vehicle build sticker incorrectly. The center portion of the window sticker outlines the standard features for all base X3 M40i produced.

The laundry list of options on the left adds, upgrades or replaces what's standard. It clearly states optional equipment may supersede standard equipment.

Also the vehicle production sheet isn't generated by Monroney. It's generated by the BMW Spartanburg factory.

I drove 600 miles from the selling dealer in Oregon last night in winter mountain weather, and didn't get much sleep. I really appreciate the polite suggestion to read the sticker again ...carefully. You have a nice stable of BMW's, especially the M550.

...any idea what the pink translucent square over our lake is all about?
