That is definitely not an F25 X3 downpipe in that picture. Looks more like an F30 downpipe. The F25 downpipe is slip fit, not bell mouthed and clamped like the F30.

Need detailed pics of that garage of yours!

I just start to add EasyGuard BSD to my X3.
Finished most of the wiring and Radar installation.
Going to replace rear driver side wheel bearing & hub next week by a shop.
Maybe next time do by myself and save hundreds.

Any idea to pick the turn signal / park signal from the back of the car?

Bought the car 9 weeks ago and have been putting a lot of work over the last 6 weekends:
6-stage paint correction (previous owner kept car parked outside and lots of contamination)
Full details interior, exterior, engine bay, wheel wells
H&R Sport Springs (car has adjustable dampers and so far I've been happy with the mod)
Powerstop Z23 pads and rotors

Lots of work and my old body is aching from all the work, but quite happy with how it turned out.

Still to do:
Another round of polishing and ceramic coating
Window tint

How do you go through a six-stage paint correction and still need polishing.
What do you mean by six-stage?
I'm looking to do this to mine. Also black. It looks like it's been polished poorly. You can see all the swirl marks left behind from polishing.

Iron-X decontamination
2 clay bar (I first tried soft clay, but it didn't remove the heavy contaminants, switched over to medium)
Heavy polish
Medium polish
Finishing polish

I didn't get a chance to ceramic coat immediately after polishing. Plan to do another finishing polish right before the coating.

Wow I really need to do this, I hate the way you can see the muffler, it especially sticks out on my black X3. Did you guys remove the muffler to do this or spray it in place? Do any sanding or prep? What paint did you use?

I'll have to double check than. It seemed to match the routing that the factory one took. It seems to match the photo on the vr speed site https://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-charge...f30-n55-2.html

Remus quad exhaust $620, but knock off "Akrapovic" tips $140 for 4 tips. Didn't want to spend $500+ for the real remus tips when its purely cosmetic (plus I thought the akrapovics look better) Also have high flow cats

So far, only installing yet another 30 day permit. I bought mine on 4/10 in Tennessee and still waiting for the local county tax office to get to my package sent from the dealer that has my registration/plates. They were back logged to the end of January last month, now they are starting on April.

Lighted Cupholders

I had these small led lights sitting around for a while and finally got motivated to install them in my X3 the other day. I was tired of searching around for the opening at night. It wasn't easy. Removing the console wasn't that bad, but trying to lift the cupholders themselves was a problem I never really solved. The rubber inserts come out to reveal some screws and clips. I was able to jack up the holders about 3/4" to give me enough room to drill 2 -1/4" holes. These lights come with a small nut to secure them. I tapped off the power from the little red light in the "forward junk collector" next to the cupholders and also replaced that light. With a good soldering iron and some shrink tubes it hall came together. I like the look. Got the lights on Ebay.

you've gotta really really pull hard to get them to pop out, like almost to the point you feel like its gonna break, but it will pop loose
