This looks way better than the old one. I never really liked the x3 prior version, seemed rather boring and ugly, this livens things up looks way better.

Would've been nice to see a flat rear floor plan without the beveled tunnel in the rear passenger. Oh well, X5 it is

I'm sure a space saver spare will be an option - but will be be stored above or below the boot floor? From the photo above it doesn't look as if the underfloor compartment is big enough to take the spare (unlike on the smaller X1).

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. I feel like they dropped the ball on some of the front end styling. Otherwise, I feel like they did a good job with the new X3.

Why go back to a separation and have a design that is not fluid throughout the brand???

There is a possibility that the LCI in 3 years will reconnect the headlights to the front Kgrills. This is just a guess on my part without any facts to back it up other than we have seen this happen when the F25 was first released.

What I want to know is what the 'non 3d' tail lights look like..

I have to agree... I really tried to like the old one. I just couldn't get over how crossovery/feminine it looked. Thats not sexist... I just wanted a more square butchier look.

This looks closer to the X5 and therefore does the trick for me.

Kiiiiiidney grille

Kidney grills are too big imo. I'd fix that with the M Performance ones. Rest of the car I quite like

Surely the M Performance grilles will be the same size - whatever you do, you've got to fill the hole...?

Like many others have said the kidney grille looks too big...but i guess that's the new norm and most of us will just get use to it.

I like how the non M Sport models are a lot stronger looking vs the previous gen equivalents. The non M sports use to have the tiny front air dams compared to M sport but they all seem to have similar air dams now.

I don't like all the plastic pieces used to integrate the safety tech, looks out of place

The interior definitely looks like a solid upgrade.
