What is your insurance rate?
Might not be a good thread idea, but I'm curious. If you live in the US, what do you pay per month to insure your X3 M40i, and who is your provider?

I pay $98/month with Geico currently. In fact I just noticed we've been with them for 5 years now so its probably time to shop rates again in 6 months.
Rates can vary based on so many different factors that it's tough to really compare with others here on the board.

I have State Farm for home, auto, and life insurance. I get a little bit of a discount, so my rate might not be that reasonable. I have my '19 X3 and a '12 Toyota Camry hybrid XLE. For both it's about $110 per month. If I paid semi annually I'd save about $15. I get a little bitty discount for autodraft.

Don't the maximum coverages and other details like deductible make a huge difference? It's hard to make a good comparison. These rates sound really good though

Wow I feel like I'm getting robbed. 3 years out from a minor accident(less than $1k total claim) and I'm still at $270 a month with Geico, no other tickets or accidents since 2006. I've shopped recently and the best I can find is around $170 from Progressive

I have maximum coverage and my deductible is $500/month. Geico and in Northern Virginia.
My total premium for 6 months is $421.72. $70.29/month. My wife had an accident a couple years ago.. so it's a little higher because of that. Location makes a BIG difference with insurance. Don't compare my rate if you live in a state like Michigan which is just INSANE |

$90 in San Jose, CA through Liberty. Full coverage but I think my deductible is $1000. Geico wanted around $160 I think. Progressive quoted me at $110.

Well I have been quoted between £800 and £5000(!!) for my M40d fully loaded. My area has had a number of car thefts in the past year including my own previous 535d M-sport, hence the new purchase. Mind you my last premium on the 535d was also around the £800 mark - with two additional drivers (my wife and my dad).

For six months on my 2019 X3 M40i I pay $416.76, after a number of discounts, including driver safety (skid) school, good neighborhood, low mileage, no accidents or tickets to speak of and multiple policies including homeowner's insurance, jewelry rider and umbrella insurance. Reasonably high deductible. Also 6 months of insurance on my 1994 530i V-8, $215.85.

In Canada FWIW, pay annually but monthly equivalent would be $68 Canadian. About $51 USD. That is with $2M liability, rental car coverage and full replacement cost rider.
