Hold the power button on the radio for 30 seconds. This will do a power down and restart of the idrive. Go to the connected drive screen and click left. Then click option button and click update apps and services. Let the vehicle go to sleep (lock it and leave for 15 mins). Log out of connected drive app and log back in. Recheck functionality of remote remote 3D View and Spotify.
Thanks, but no luck.

Interesting... my dealer performed SIB 84-02-20 which is supposed to fix remote 3D view.

I read something about loud turn signals after a recent update. Mine are still quiet...

jcl451, as I've said, I've got Spotify in my Media Sources Personalize submenu. When I checked it, it brought Spotify into my Media Sources main menu. However, I could only access it if I upgraded to a Premium account (free for 90 days). I know that's been said by another poster as well. I could access the free Spotify account thru CarPlay, as I believe you know.

But if you don't see Spotify in your Media Sources Personalize submenu, and if you don't see the Remote 3D view button in your BMW Connected iPhone app, I believe that you cannot have the 11/19 iDrive 7 update. If your service department did downloaded it, maybe it was not downloaded properly? That happens. Maybe ask your service department to try it again, or try another BMW service department?

Good luck with this. Let us know how you make out.

So I left the car alone for a few days. Checked the app and now it's working.

Hello, my Spotify Icon disappeared from the media list, and it was correctly selected in the "Personalize Menu Option".

I was suprised yesterday when my girlfriend was driving the car and the Spotify Icon was shown on her menu. So I concerned it was related to the driver account. When I arrived at home, I deleted my driver account, and logged in again. And Voilá!, the spotify Icon was shown again, and I could pair it to my Spotify account through the Datamatrix Code.

I think it disappeared before when I tried to pair without a spotify premium account.
