Exclamation Aftermarket Brake Pad

Guys,

I have been getting some inquiry on low dust and more bite ceramic brake pads.
I have did some measurement yesterday, but would like to gauge the amount of interest.

So, let's get the poll started.

At least for me, more bite is more important than less dust.

For me it's the damn squeaky grinding noise. It's really more evident and embarrassing with the windows open. Getting the wrong type of stares. I'm actually considering putting it on swap lease Bc of it unless maybe the new set of brakes might help this situation?

Your case is mainly because you need to bed the brake or brake harder.

Yes when I brake hard there's no noise but with ppl in my car it makes them nauseas lol. Soft braking is a nightmare. Ear ripping noise. It's that bad. On reverse it's the loudest shriek on earth.

Too much dust with OEM, even more evident with black powder coated wheels. Would love a low dust option.

I'm less concerned with more bite and more concerned with less dust.

A pad which performs equal to stock with less dust would be awesome. If it bites better, bonus.

Working in 2 different setup.

Hopefully I will get the sample in the next couple weeks to give it a try and report back with pricing.

I'm satisfied with the braking bite and power on the street but agree they are quite dusty. Maybe that's just because it shows so well on gloss black wheels. I personally would not spend the money to change out pads because every pad is going to dust and I'm not going to the track, but I could see a market for this upgrade option.

I will be testing 2 versions.
- Same bite as stock with 70% less dust
- Better bit than stock, but only 20% less dust

The dust on OEM brake pads are so much, 2 X3M that I was working on, I thought they powder coat their wheels satin black.

It's even worse on my silver winter wheels.

Literally about 10 miles total back and forth of 2 mile drives to the train station they are coated.

Looking forward to the pricing!

On my E46 M3 I installed Axxis Deluxe pads and they were pretty much zero dust. Not as much initial bite as stock, rather more linear.

I tried them on my heavy truck and they did not perform well at all.

My X3MC stays rather clean except for the wheels so hopefully the testing goes well.

Do. Want. Forgot how bad brake dust build-up is on X M series cars. My X5M was just as bad: detail car, within 20 miles (normal driving) wheels already coated. Missing the ceramics on the S8 something fierce.

there was a BIG difference in brake dust accumulation from OEM compared to the ceramic pads I had.

Sample supposed to be here next week.
I will do testing on 2 different version.
Version 1 - 70% less dust, similar bite as stock.
Version 2 - 20% less dust, better bite than stock.

From there, I will start a group buy once everything is as planned.
