Show me your phytonic blue x3

Hi everyone,

I've been following this post since I ordered my first BMW Expected delivery was April but because of CORVID-19 TBD when I'll get it. Ordered the X3 with the following in specs:

X3 xDrive20i M Sport
Phytonic blue
Vernasca Cognac Leather

While I wait, I've been keeping myself busy looking at other pics on here similar to mine. I think I've pretty much seen every phytonic blue x3, so if you some gems, please share! They've been helping me with the wait

Excellent color with contrasting interior. Mine is stock except for tinted drivers and pass windows. I also have color matched license plate holders but that's it. 21" wheels too.

Go here for the best phytonic blue, and maybe the best X3 M40i, on the forum (imo). No my car btw.

LOL. I love (love, love) the wheels and think most splitters and diffusers are boy-racer tack-ons. But everyone knows that the MP decals add 5 hp!

Those wheels are definitely boy racer, they look like they came off a Fast & Furious Supra!

I have the same configuration as yours.
I was so excited and impatient to see and drive waiting for delivery (just like you probably), and was looking for every detail across the forum.
So here's a quick overview/review before you get the car:

Esthetics:
-Phytonic blue is one of the best colors I've seen in the automotive industry, it might sound an exaggeration but believe me it looks so beautiful and suits the X3 so well. The colors tends to change to darker blue when in shadow or at night, and sometimes it looks like the carbon black color of the X3 especially in low lit areas.
-Vernasca Cognac also looks very good. One of the key features of this color is that it makes the car look fancier even from outside (yes the interior color is so remarkable from outside, in a good way). Plus it goes so well with the blue exterior. In terms of quality, it is so good too, you might need to clean it every other wash or so especially if you wear jeans and dark colored pants.
-What I don't like about the interior is the piano black trim (even though it gives it a classy look). You have to really take care of it when cleaning, otherwise you'll end up with lots of visible scratches.

Engine:
-Even though the 20i engine isn't so popular on this forum (probably because it is not available in the US), it is the same engine as the 30i (B48) the only difference is in the ECU (electronically limited)
-The engine is pretty powerful (don't underestimate it believe me) it's got a punch to it especially when you rev it above 3k rpm. It is also economical compared to similar engines of other car manufacturers, averaging 8-9 Liters per 100km.
-It is also so quiet when cruising at a constant speed or coasting, feels like an electric car at times.

Other features:
-The 360 cameras (Park Assist plus) is sooo useful, I didn't know it would come in handy when I added it to the options list. It helps you avoid hitting curbs and damage your wheels, park in tight spots etc...
-The reclining benches in the back are also a good option to have, especially if you tend to do long trips with people in the back, they will thank you for it
-The car's boot is massive, some other cars (like audi Q5) have 550 liters volume but believe me the X3's 550 Liters is way bigger.
-Wireless Apple Carplay is also a convenient way to use your phone without needing to actually have it between your hands. I got mine coded because I didn't add it when I ordered the car.

Conclusion:
The X3 is an amazing car, both esthetically and functionally. You'll love it.

It's not hard to clean at all, I use the original BMW leather cleaner with a microfiber towel and rub it gently, any dirt or color transfer from clothes gets removed easily. I clean it every other wash (once per month).
I didn't try other products (such as conditioners or waxes) because I've read on this forum that the vernasca leather is PU coated, which means it is already coated with a protectant layer, so you'll have to find a specific conditioner that works for PU leather (I couldn't find such a product though)
However the BMW leather cleaner does the job effectively, it also protects the leather from UV without leaving any streaks or a greasy layer on top.
