But I’ll not have a video of the downpipe with stock exhaust. And the video with the Akra won’t help much.

Goodness lol. Remus USA has a clip and it sounds really throaty on us spec.

Pretty new to this, so forgive my basic question. Been reading quite a bit about upgrades to the sound for this vehicle, and it sounds like adding a cat back exhaust is the best way to get this where I want it to be. Would installing something like this Remus Exhaust cause an emissions test failure?

In this car, cat-back system will remove the secondary catalytic.
So, not so sure how it work in your states.

Getting ready to upgrade my exhaust on the x3m comp. I am thinking about the catless downpipe since I like the comps exhaust just would like it louder. Question is, I know I need a tune. Thinking the bm3 stage 2. Assuming that will shut off check engine lights. If I go in to the dealer for a service should I revert to stock tune? Or will that throw a check engine since there are no cats? Perhaps I can just keep the tune on for service. Any suggestions?

Flash tune will clear the CEL.
Dealer may reset the tune if there is a software update to the DME.
Most guys revert to stock tune when goes in for service.
