The G80 paddles have been a great OEM+ add on for the steering wheel of many other G series. A lot longer and a bit more aggressive.

This is the next mod I’m doing on my car, G80 paddles and carbon wheel trim.

Visited the parts counter at my local dealers today, I have wheel heating and driving assistance professional so need wheel trim 32302471439. They will do the wheel trim for £360

He asked if I wanted to do the paddles as well but they were the stubby standard sized but in carbon.

I said I was interested in the M3 G80 paddles. I nearly fell over when he said they were £545

Anyone that knows their stuff think they look the same? No way I’m paying £545 for a pair of paddles. I pretty much never use the paddles anyway, it's more for aesthetics as the original silver ones will look odd once i do the carbon wheel trim.

I can't see how they're OEM. All together like that in a cardboard box? No BMW packaging?

They look like the AliExpress ones to me

I wouldn't take the risk of buying those as OEM for that price.

I google mapped their address and it looks like a residential house in the middle of farmland.

I bought aluminium ones from autotecknic and they're epic. They feel nice as they aren't sh1tty plastic too.

Easy to install - disconnect battery, take off airbag and the it's just a couple of screws and remove the click mechanism. 10min job.

Mine perfectly match the steering wheel trim too.

Are these painted or "raw" aluminum? Hadn't seen these before but I like how they look and might have to go this way as opposed to CF.
