told me it would be a minimum of one month since there are no parts for my car. Everything is coming from Germany, but I guess they couldn't pull any parts out of South Carolina.
Told you… same issue I had. I'm still waiting for parts for the shop to start my job. First it was waiting for Geico to inspect the car. And then the parts missing… what a pain the neck!

Geico pulled the same crap with me. Then they tried to go with aftermarket parts on the repair but fortunately mine is at a BMW certified shop so they had to go with the right parts. Geico tried to skim $12k off the repair cost. Leaving those clowns asap.

My friend had extra so he gave them to me, there is a bigger pillow for sale and those are about $130 a pop. I got these for free so not going to complain about the black ones.

The adjuster had the audacity to tell me the carbon tips can be found for $200 on eBay. I literally told him to “fuck off” I’m like here is the invoice of my exhaust. Full exhaust with mid link and tips is about $8k and change for full retail. The tips are about $1900 now. I should let him buy it since it won’t fit and let him waste the $200. Really rubbed me the wrong way when he called me with that. My car is about $90k, do you think I would put $200 fake tips, the install on the exhaust is more the fake tips you showed me?! But I wasn’t rude, I can’t assume everyone is a car guy.

The at fault insurance is geico, I’m using progressive. Speaking of pain in the neck, I hired an injury lawyer too for my neck pains.

The things they say on the phone but won't in person….that's wild. Yeah that's why I was adamant about having OEM parts on mine. Mine is an x line so the parts weren't as expensive as any of the M stuff but still not cheap. That bad ass paint job won't be cheap either.

I was using a x7 too, i also happened to take it up to nyc and boston from Florida. My car is in the shop and no update on the parts yet.. its been 28 days so far.

as long as its an authorized repair shop, they will get the code to mix the colors. Im sure it will be fine. *fingers Crossed* lol

I had an x3 for a couple months. Then a 3 series. Got to the point where I used up my rental allowance that first month so that out of pocket added up promptly.

here are all the cars i've been using since the car has been in the shop. I took the Landcruiser to the everglades and big cypress. Its a good car but for a 90k car...not worth it... it doesn't even have apple car-play man......

the x7 i drove it from Miami to NYC and Boston and back to Miami. Pretty good hauler, expensive to park in Nyc if I couldn't find a meter.

Now, I'm in a 840i. its ok! it drives like a 340i and its comfortable and actually feels luxurious. It's less harsh than the 3 and 5 series. I would have gotten screwed with a Nissan Maxima rental if I stuck with enterprise like my insurance recommended. So meanwhile my x3 is being repaired, I have been enjoying my rentals at least.
