[OT] sort of: anyone done 2 hours tour (versus 1 hour) of SC BMW X plant?

Seems like not a bad drive from Holly Springs to SC BMW plant, to have a visit and see how our X cars are built.

Anyone been to this tour recently, would you recommend the 2 hours tour?

And if visited from out of town, any near by place recommended for stay?

Looking at this place, they also provide the driving course school.

If I were you, I would pick a hotel near Falls Park in Greenville (excellent park to stroll around), there are tons of neat restaurants there. Hotels include Hilton chain (Embassy Suites, Hampton In) and Marriott chain (Courtyard), but could get pricy because of the location.

If I want to go the cheaper route, I'd check out the more budget oriented inns at Spartanburg. Driving to and from Greenville to here is fairly easy.

Okay, thanks for those options. I'll start with the cheaper version first.
