BMW Running In Service - What is it?
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I've seen other posts saying for an M car (i have the M40i X3) you should definitely take it as part of the service package but welcome your thoughts?

The M40i is considered a normal vehicle. Other than taking it easy for the first 1200 miles, you don't need to perform an additional service or anything like a run in service. |

I now need to call them, cancel the plan entirely, then re-take it out without the Run In Service (which they included on it).

Correct, so basically they set up the Plan including Running In Service. You need to Opt out of this and then it changes the price down to around the £30pm mark or so. the £45 price is inclusive of running in service which this forum and BMW themselves have told me is not required.
