Rough idle for a few seconds

2011 N52
I have a rough idle on start up for just a few seconds if the car sat for a few hours. No check engine light. Any advise is appreciated, thanks

Could be a whole bunch of different things. Does it feel like a misfire?

I recently changed my spark plugs and coil packs on our N20. Seems to have helped.

On a cold start, the car idles rough and has a stalling sensation if I put it in gear to roll it out of the garage within the first 30 s (if it's a bit warmer it won't do that).

After the plug and coil pack change this effect has disappeared

Kinda like a chugging, my first thought is a possible leaking injector then it clears up after a couple seconds.

When the car is parked after driving it a few minutes later I can hear some pressure release, possible fuel pressure release From the system, but I believe it is supposed to do that.

Need to scan for fault codes- this could even be as simple as bad tank of gas.
Good luck/Bill

I just replaced a plug for the same issues. It started like this but then it evolved into a misfire. I was thinking injectors, aka worst case scenario, but it turned out there were not leaking. Replaced the plug and we were good.

Plugs were changed 20k miles ago but will keep watching.
It's probably the very rear one

I had just changed mine ~6,000 miles ago. Needless to say I was surprised one had went bad but I'll take it over the alternatives.

I'm having the same symptoms with relatively new plugs and coilpacks. Did you ever diagnose the issue?
