Apologies didn’t pay too much attention to the change.

Yep

But is the B57 a totally brand new engine or an revised update?

I know the B58 was brand new and very different to the N55.

Have a M40i which I love, but did have a M40d as a loaner for a week. The thing does seriously shift! And if I did the miles may have had one, but for me I like the ability to rev the B58 through the long rev range.

Car going to PCWMod on 31/12 to have the back box "modded". 👍💪

I calculated excess miles at stated cost per mile

I did that before handing my 530d back a couple of weeks ago and I calculated £281.10 and it was spot on when I got the bill yesterday - but 530D XDrive from 2017 had 10.1p per mile excess

It still kills me to hear this versus what my 440i MPPSK sounds like. The OPF is like an arrow through the heart of engine noise.

I say that with the full understanding of how average the X3M sounds too (versus my car).

I really do hope there are some decent solutions to add some noise back for the X3M too. OPF delete is a complete pain as the ECU software needs to change

Agree! My wife has a pre OPF Mini JCW which sounds awesome. Started up a new 300bhp countryman the other day....how disappointing.

Badly affecting all manufacturers with RS's etc also having gone quiet

So you're probably over stating the cost of the extra miles if you were to get one.

If you change your pcp as you purchase your car to a higher contracted mileage, it costs a lot less than paying the excess mileage penalty at the end for a lower contract amount.

Effective monthly cost is now the same for the M40i as the X3M. How long that lasts is another story..
I've got a test drive in an M40i at my local stealer in Glasgow at the weekend - Vardy's in Edinburgh are quoting £479pm with £999 deposit for standard spec, but if you're trading a BMW in they'll pay the deposit. Works out at £10.5K contribution, and 2.9% apr.

Spoke to them and it's not just for stock cars - you can order to your own spec and it will then be down to the add-ons as to what the monthlies end up at.

Now down to whether I can persuade the local garage to match, or if I have to go through to Edinburgh - no hardship if that's the case

I'd like adaptive, but as it now only comes as part of the M Sport Plus pack I'll take my chances with M Sport suspension on 20" wheels with non-RFT. All I want to add is SPG and lumbar support so should get in under £500...

Will keep you posted

Can you do this at any point ?

So you call BNWFS and do this?

I'm doing 30-35 k now and my deal is based on 20.

I'd be keen to do something about it

These deals are very tempting
I've only had my car since March, but I've asked my dealer to have a look into it for me
Not sure how much it would end up costing
But I suppose worth a look

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a fully loaded X3MC for about £50 more per month than my 30D. Am I mad?

I have my 40d since January 19' and have asked them for the same,as I want an X3M desperately but to trade in my car and settle the 4 Y pcp I dont think is worth it at the moment, as you loose serious money...With the valuation they did to my car!
