I just ordered the complete canvasback liner... $299 for all the various flaps and what not. We've had great success with these liners in the past, figured we should stick with what we know works.

Just ordered the canvasback too. Wanted access to the side rails if need be. Plus I do like that it covers the seats when you fold them down.

These guys based conveniently near my work, in the UK... I stumbled upon them thanks to google but they didn’t do the G01.

I called and the next week they had my M40i in for a day to measure up... collected the car and it was made and fitted!

Unbelievable quality and has access to every pocket/Rail/hook/compartment/split seat. Lovely tough and water resistant material.

Currently a bargain at £120!!

That looks good, but are there holes where the BMW dog guard fits to the back of the rear seats? It hooks in to the clips on the back of the seats.

Maybe there is no big deal to make extra holes by yourself ... but a hole might leak whatever you want to protect the cargo area from, into the cargo area...

Works great as a dog guard and doesn’t have to be an unsightly clunky cage... it just rolls up and fits under the boot floor.

Ah ok, I have the BMW bars, and they hook under the metal clips on the back of the seats.

New to the game here. Got suckered in to paying for whatever 3M film they offered on my Lexus, and while I think it was worth it to have it, I'm certain I overpaid.

That was like a decade ago, and I didn't do it on my Audi when I bought it last year.

We're looking to lease an X3 - not sure if paint film is worth it on a lease? I think we might park it on the street a decent amount...but I'm still not sure if it's worth it.

While I doubt you can answer the question of whether you should bother putting it on a lease, is there a reason why you're loyal to the Suntek brand in particular?

I ended up ordering the one from Amazon. Length is perfect and has about an inch or so on each side for those that have the rails.

Bought a trimmable cargo mat online from Home Depot for $20 Bucks.
It is light weight and can easily access the underfloor storage handle and stats up by itself. I took my sliding ties out and will just let the mat curl up a little if I ever need to use them.

honestly I like this idea a lot. I don't put much if anything that can spill in my trunk. It's mainly to stop little bits of this or that from getting matted in the fabric.

Yep, plus stops sliding around. Works for me. It was $20.50 including tax. Plus it does have a raised lip (small) if you need to throw some wet clothes or something back there. Here's another pic.

I like the BMW cargo mat because there is no tight fit. That makes it possible to pull it over de alluminium strips when loading, of needed.

If you partially pull it out to cover the aluminum, how are going to slide it back in once loaded?

I don't carry very heavy items, just a buggy, suitcase/groceries etc. In my experience when loading I don't hit the aluminium, but when unloading I tend to pull and slide things out of the trunk. I find it no problem to pull the cover out when its loaded, it will slide, it doesen't stick to the floorboard.

Just got the WeatherTech. Very happy with the fit. It has cutouts for the tie downs on the rails but only in certain spots. I removed the tie downs from the rails so the mat sits flush. Don't foresee needing the rails often.
