In mixed driving, I'm averaging 10.5L/100km (I believe that's 27mpg UK). I also drive mostly in sport mode, so I'm sure I could average something a little closer to 10, but I think I'd be hard pressed to get under 10.
On some weeks, we use the car strictly in "city driving", and during those weeks, I'd say we average around 12L/100km (23.5mpg). Only regret I have with the 2.0 petrol is that it feels slow as our other car is a 335 lol. |

I don't know what they will do with the car I have at the moment. BMW built a 2019 car when in fact it should have been 2020. It does happen very occasionally they tell me: confused2 They may be worth a call whichever you decide, put out us up overnight which was nice of them.

I'm shocked about these consumptions of the car. We currently own the M40i and while we did expect it to be quite bad, it's weird that you guys with the smaller engines are going through the same trouble. We are currently doing 11.3 l/100 km (20,8 mpg) and we do sometimes floor it a bit too. I wonder if it's our driving style that does this, or if the new X3 in general that's being weird.
