Hey Joe...dmanb2b gave a contact. Andrew at ORT has been super helpful in helping me source any forged monoblock wheel, in any size and fitment at a very reasonable price. I got tired of waiting.

Slowly but surely. X3/X3M fitments are tied into a much larger project for higher load-rating wheels in general which is increasing the wait for them. We do have volunteers lined up and ready for when we need them (thanks again to those who volunteered!).

Also interested in updates as I'm also holding off on wheels waiting for VS-5RS option for X3M.

Nothing of substance for the thread at the moment. I'll be working on final diameters, widths, and offsets shortly but the planning phase of these wheels is taking a long time for engineering and validation. On the plus side, if the project goes as I envision it, it'll be a wider line of wheels for the SAVs including X5/M and some of the heavier EVs coming into the BMW range. But all those factors add time.

I don't think it needs its own full survey, but if you have a particular diameter/width and offset combination you'd like to see, I'm always open for feedback.

We aren't going to be pursing crazy fitments initially, but this development is a bit unique as I'm not sure what most customers prefer. I think a meaningful increase in widths both for wheels & tire and a square option make sense, but tires are particularly limiting on this platform in terms of size combinations and what is available on the market.

Let us know your thoughts and I'll roll them in to the ongoing development.

Thank you for the update. Hopefully things start progressing along soon… my vote would be for the VS-5RS in 21x9.5 et17 & 21x11 et35.

While we’re dreaming, I’d love to see some additional brushed finishes… brushed bronze or a brushed grey/black.

A 20" VS-5RS option that doesn't require the use of spacers and fits flush with fenders or even the same in a 21" VS-5RS

Really anything in a VS-5RS I'll make it work in Black so let's get those going

21 inch gets my vote. I see those around way more than the 20's... (For X3/4M)

I don't care what style they are I just want them to be lighter.
I had the Arc8's on my 2009 M3 and they were the lightest version you sold at the time. Certainly looking for something like that.

Hey All,

I don't have a set update for this thread, but I wanted to bump it to get more volunteer submissions. We had a number of volunteers with X3M/X4Ms initially, but after reaching out over the last few weeks to try and arrange brake scans, we have yet to receive responses.

If you haven't volunteered, but are located in the Bay area and willing to stop by our office in Pleasanton for a few hours, please fill out this form.

If you've already volunteered, but haven't seen any emails from our team, please check your spam folder. If there still isn't anything there, feel free to DM me and I can double-check to make sure your information got passed along to our team.

No problem. We were actually able to get some scans done on Monday at a local dealer, so the scans are taken care of. We will need fresh volunteers for sample wheel testfits and photography in the future, but the need is no longer urgent like it was. We'll keep you posted!

Do we have any info on possible sizes/style s that will be available? In the process of finding my X3M/4M and would want to be one on the first on the east coast with a set of your wheels

Initial diameter is set on 20s for now as 21s would extend the wait. We'll likely do 21s in the future but not with the initial release. Right now, we're leaning toward a 20x9.5 with an offset in the low 20s up front and 20x10.5 with an offset in the mid 30s for the X3M/X4m specifically. We did initially consider going wider, but tire availability in particular seems to favor the 9.5/10.5 combination in a 20" fitment.

We'll also have 20" fitments for the non-M X3 models that will work on the Ms for a winter fitment or for someone who prefers a more OE option (20x9 ET2x, 20x10 ET3x.

It's technically a new wheel design but it will be familiar to all of you. That's about all I can say on that front.

Thanks for the update.
Will you also be going with the current colorways bronze, Anthracite, Silver?

Awesome, I’m in for a set if they are VS-5RS style in Black.

Putting this down for evaluation pending offsets - Michelin PS4S (275/40 R20, 315/35 R20)

TBD on the colors, that discussion is still a ways out.
