The 360 parking assistant from BMW includes four hi-res cams, front, rear, left and right, 3D imaging modules, two side mirror sensors and all the cables and wires you could possibly need.
One thing to keep in mind going forward, though, is that the original grille doesn’t have a camera hole, so plan your budget ahead. After around a couple of days of disassembly, assembly, wiring and coding, this gadget might end up saving your budget on the long run.
And hey, if you’re one of those insisting that you’ll never need any tool other than your “20/20” in order to do a proper parking, well you can get this gadget to offer your passengers a close view of your stellar skill.
The current G-generation models such as 3 Series G20 / G21, 4 Series G22, 5 Series G30, X5 G05, iX3 G08 can all be upgraded with a dedicated original 360° parking camera.
