Hi, did anybody have a physical digital key card included with their MSport Pro? I was under the impression this should be included as part of comfort access but I can't find a digital key card anywhere.

Mine came with one. I had to think where it was when I saw your post! There is a card storage area under the flap of the owners manual and mine is in there and still in its plastic wallet. I think that is where it was when they handed the car over to me.

Glad you posted as it has reminded me that my suspended AA membership card is in the same place.

Yea my M Sport Pro had it. It was on the wireless charging pad when I picked up the car.

I remember having to amend some of the setting on the iDrive screen to get them to work.

If you've already done that then holding it next to the ridges where you lock the car on the exterior door handle for a couple of seconds works for me.

Initially I found I wasn't holding it there for long enough.

I saw some videos on internet and there they hold the phone just near the door handle. Did not work for me to the point of frustration. My BMW Genius told me to hold the phone inside the handle and not to deep. That was the trick! Use my phone almost standard as that is impossible to follow, intercept and copy. No need for Faraday pockets to carry the key in. Downside is you cannot “look for your car” in a parking lot

I use the credit card for Guests so no tempering with seat, mirrors etc if someone borrows the car.

Thanks all for your messages. The BMW dealership my car came from are suggesting that "Digital Key Cards are no longer being physically issued by BMW". If you had a card with your car please could you let me know your order and delivery dates? Thanks.

I ordered mine pretty much as soon as you could order the LCI so that was at the beginning of October 2021 with delivery at the beginning of March 2022 and it came with the Digital Key Card.

Hopefully you will also get info from owners who have just collected their vehicles and see whether they are all getting them or not getting them.

Ordered Dec 2021, built in May and delivered mid-august. M Sport Pro and the keycard was in the front of the manual wallet.

How do you remember details like that? I struggle to remember what I had for breakfast?!

It is pretty useful, it's always in my wallet, and having it as a backup solution when you forgot to take the other keys is great

Hehe, I thought was a business card at first with the bmw logo on it.

I just keep it in my wallet too, upgraded phone to z fold 4 and the bloody bmw app doesn't support the digital key on it (yet) as used to use that on the 21u

Hi, please can I just check if anyone who has received their MSport Pro recently also received the NFC digital key card? Just want to get some evidence before I go back to the dealer to ask them to sort this out as I didn't receive one.

I picked up my car (M Sport Pro) on Tuesday the 8th, this week. Ordered in July. Came with the digital keycard, which was sitting on the wireless pad when I picked up the car.

Similar to fuzzmondo I also collected my M Sport Pro on the 8th, ordered in late May, the NFC digital key was in the glove box on top of the user manual.

I got my pro late September, got digital card, I think it was with the user manual, haven't used it yet

Does anyone find the digital wallet key (Android) doesn't work so well in the rain? I wanted to get about with the car without the key altogether, but when the door handles are wet the NFC doesn't seem to work so well. Pixel 6 here.

Would like to jump into this topic, you are all talking about M Sport Pro so I guess this is all UK market.

Just bought mine second hand at BMW Dealer, german market, first reg. Nov. 2021, Impressive version (comfort access included). I checked the card storage area under the flap of the owners manual but it is empty.

Could anyone tell me if the german ones were shipped with the card at that time ? I wonder if there could be anyone out there with a Keycard capable of opening and driving my car ... (and also would like to have if for my own needs ...)

I had wondered the same for mine for a while until I noticed the card was wedged in the notch in the driver sun visor by the mirror. I’ve not activated or ever used it though. My car was delivered Jan this year.

Can’t help with the supply of keys but you can control/disable what keys have access in idrive so if the card is out there you can block it.
