Seat Position

My iX3 had its 2 year service last month. I used my second key. There is just a single driver profile set in the iDrive.

Following the service, I now find that when I leave the car the driver’s seat motors rearwards. It moves forward to its set driver’s position when I press start. I have looked everywhere for a solution to stop this happening. HELP - please.

My X5 did this by default, to allow easy access/exit but then it’s a higher car etc.

Not noticed on my iX3 but I wish it did do it.

Sounds like a software update enabled it.

Our iX3 defaults to guest profile when entering the car/turning off the car. Could it be that it’s just moving to the seat position configured on guest and that the mechanic moved the seat on that profile?
