Energy management Message - Increased power consumption while parking

Has anyone come across this energy management message? - “Increased power consumption while parking. To ensure driving readiness comfort functions (e.g. Remote Services) were temporarily not executed.”

The digital key / key card and some other functions not working. Any ideas?

Hello,

Have you got any equipment connected to the 12v supply when this message appears?

Many thanks,

There was nothing connected to 12v.

But after a 2 hour journey and about 3 hours of charging at home, the issue disappeared. So it could well be the 12v battery running low.

The battery discharge while stationary warning is indicating an abnormal current draw, not simply a low battery. Of course, one results in the other. A low battery can initiate a battery warning, to drive or charge the battery

Usually there is a fault, or some failure to switch down a function or module in the sleep sequence. Can be irregular.

You can have the discharge warning when you know the battery is in a good SoC. With the resulting switch off of consumers and services.
