iX3 (G08) 4 POT brake kit. Have a safe trip, literally

The owner of this iX3 came to me to have the factory brake kit and the discs changed, so we got to work. The new 4 POT (front) and 1 POT (rear) kit uses 395mm and 370mm dimpled discs, providing a larger contact area for the calipers to press on, increasing the friction force, and effectively improving the brake. This is especially important for electric vehicles, known for faster acceleration. Keep in mind though, that wider tyres are just as important, and can also be included in a “safety upgrade”, as long as you stay within the wheel’s recommended range, to avoid unplanned costs.

Well, it looks good but IMHO itīs not worth it. Itīs not a performance car, itīs doing a lot of regen and should I need the brakes in an emergency, I find them just fine

I have a shop in Hong Kong. Coincidentally, one of my staff is Romanian, and the posts I make, while some may need a little more flair, they are actual installs I made in my garage..

I guess it's up to each driving style and need.

Originally for G30. An excellent point, thanks for reminding me to mention it!

It's a direct fit, but pay attention to the rear brake, it uses the handbrake motor of your original kit, cannot use the one that comes with the brake kit. Other than that, all good
