Very confused about 2021 interior colors??

So I am looking to replace a 2014 F25 xDrive 28i with a 2021 xDrive 30i. In 2021 they offered leather in both Oyster and Canberra Beige. In later years the Canberra was Sensatec, but in 2021 you could get leather in both colors. I have Oyster in my 2014, so I know what it looks like. From pictures, Canberra is very, very close. I have never seen a car maker offer two leather colors that are nearly identical in the same year, so I must be missing something. What am I missing?

I have a MY2021, I don't recall any Canberra Beige leather option when I custom ordered (admittedly I was looking at M40i only).
Oyster is lighter than Canberra Beige. In the end I went with cognac because I didn't want black and oyster was too light. Where did you see this. Wonder if it was briefly added later in the Model year (I ordered one of the first 2021s).

you cannot go by pictures as lighting and camera setting will effect true color appearance.

I have a 2021 price guide that shows both, plus I have seen both for sale online. I am looking at one today that has Canberra, so I will be able to see the difference since I own Oyster. I realize that online photos may make them look more alike than they are, and Canberra seems a bit creamier/yellower, but they are still very close kissing cousins, and I cannot think of another car make that has ever offered 2 colors so close. They always offer distinctly different colors - beige/brown/red/black/gray.

And I will add that the price guide says "canberra beige/black" but in looking at photos I don't see any black. I thought maybe somebody would tell me the extent that the lighter color was used is different, but so far I'm not seeing it.

Not sure about other markets, but BMW UK changed the lower dash trim to black, rather than matching Oyster at some point. Not sure if this was prior to LCI or later.

Canberra is more of a tan brown color whereas oyster is more of an off-white color. There is a big difference between the two.

According to this site, Canberra, Oyster, and Cognac were offered in Vernasca leather in '21 models.

Looks like I am mistaken. Also found an older ordering guide for MY21 and it is in there.
