Recently when I start the car, a strange navigation location pops up on my digital display, the location is someone’s name (Phil Robb) and an address in southern England.

I have never sent any location from my app to my car, I don’t know the address. Is there any way I can delete this and wipe it from the navigation system?

Oh and my car is a 2022 with ID7.

I had one show up the other day. I said: "Hey BMW: cancel navigation" and it was canceled immediately.

i have this same issue, suggested destination or something along those lines.
I cannot delete the address.

Given that most times I try to send an address from the app to my car it never turns up then maybe the reason is they just get randomly spammed to other people instead

But you can disable that "learn route" feature.

Is it the same for you? That guy Phil in southern England? Bit of a trek if so right? Need some of that James Bond action going on with the Lotus stylee dive in the sea shizzle. OMG I remember as a kid I had a die-cast toy of that thing that fired little plastic torpedos :->

I can confirm that using my BMW to delete or cancel the Nav address doesn't work. Back to the drawing board me finx.

Weird, I am also having a similar issue, but with less than random addresses. Possibly from the calendar integration and locations associated with calendar events? But I’m still not 100% sure.

Just curious - does the LCI have some learn/suggested route (or something along those lines) option? I've had random addresses popup back then, although around the area where I've been to previously, within a few hundred yards radius not hundreds of miles. I turned off the learn route and nothing appeared after that.

I used to have the same destination suggestion. And I had no idea why... I would just delete the message but it would always come back.

The only way I found to finally get rid of it was to delete al my personal data, which I did. A bit of a PITA since you have to re-load your preferences. But it worked.

You can either live with this minor annoyance or spend an hour with the tunes on re-programming everything.

If this is what I need to do to remove this annoying navigation error then so be it.

Did the system reset and can confirm it has fixed the issue. 15 mins to do it and reconfigure everything, job done!
