How do I turn off "Uneven Pavement" warnings in the HUD?

I've been getting uneven pavement warnings in the HUD that are quite annoying and remain in the display too long. Every time it comes up the other info in the HUD (speed, navigation, etc.) is temporarily suspended while this warning is displayed. Does anyone know how to turn this particular warning off without turning off the speed camera and red light camera warnings in the HUD? Thanks.

And be aware it might turn itself back on. I suspect when it does an update, or maybe when you get the "data services agreement update", it will turn itself back on.

But yeah. Go to main iDrive menu. On the left, select Apps then installed apps. Its the last one for me.

After two years of driving, I had this warning come on for the first time. It caught me off guard since somehow I had missed info on it in the manual. It was triggered by a raised repair plate in the road. And it did shut off the HUD briefly.

Now I know

It was added through connected drive as a free app maybe 6 months or something ago. Definitely hasn't been out for 2 years now.

I've read you need iDrive 7 and at least software 11/2020 or newer for this feature.

Well my car was built in early September 2020 with no software updates so no 11/2020 update yet I have these warnings.

Mine is a 2019 with iDrive 6.0 and as noted in my earlier post, the warning came up.

I got a 2020 (iDrive 7 lite) that was build in Oct 19 but was updated to 03/21 (Alexa is one of the Apps) but I never seen that warning.

Maybe its regional.

I don't think it's linked to a certain minimum software level as long as you have idrive 7. I'm on 20-07 currently
