Zero chance you got a custom titanium exhaust for $2300. Zero
Ok. Dont need you to believe me, I'm happy with my setup and I'm telling the truth, but you do you bucko Also if you don't think this exhaust is overpriced for a stainless axleback I don't know what to tell you. The welds don't even look clean and the rectangular muffler is cringy.

Go ahead and pay 2500$ for some shitty, thin, metal

Will ship out prior to that. 2 weeks is the default display when something is not in the finished goods warehouse. The reality is we have quite a bit that are done they just need to be put into boxes.

Tips are clamp on for both systems so you can put them as flush, pushed in or pushed out as you want for either.

Never been fit on an an OPF based car so couldnt say what the end result of sound may be but we see no reason it shouldnt physically bolt up to the vehicle. As far as availabilty goes you could order through a few of our dealers in the UK (https://www.dinancars.com/dealers/) or direct from any number of online etailers that do international shipping.

Why does it sound like the active sound is off for the stock in-car and on for the Dinan in-car?

I thought the same thing when they were doing sound testing but the \ delta is most definitely there. Don't touch the coding so what you hear in the video is all factory ASD configurations.

Tail end of summer would be my guess but with the current state of supply chains I wouldn't put money on any ETA I give.

I'm really excited to see the new mid pipes make the system sound.

They are. Waiting on load testing before we can officially offer the wheels for the platform though. As they were originally tested for a load rating that was slightly below the X3M/X4M. =/

I assume the mid pipes are after the O2 sensors and therefore will not throw a CEL? If so, I'm definitely interested.

Correct. It will be emissions legal. They would be termed a resonator delete / X similar to what was released for the F90 M5. Since it doesnt go from the cat's back its not truly a set of midpipes.

So I was just looking underneath my car, looking for the cut points before I order. The "V" bracing is...not there, non-existent. There is no drop bracket behind the diff, no supporting arms, no nothing. There are bolts run up into the body where the drop bracket would attach.

I have a mid-December build. Anyone else installed a system and not had these parts? Dinan_Engineering care to share the build date of your vehicle?

Edit: so looking at realoem, it would appear only those with pano sunroof get this extra bracing...very interesting.

Started the install tonight...and we've got some issues I believe. I own an X3M non-comp for reference.

First photo - the stock how-to photo with the resonator, just like my car and the cut points. Notice the cut occurs around #3.

Second photo - my cut points. Had a few BMW friends look at it and they agree my cuts are good.

Third photo - another diagram in the how-to manual of a different car (?) Not sure if that's a X3 Comp, but no resonator, and you can see clearly how much further up the cut was made. Notice the cut occurs well past the #3 spot.

Fourth - gap between exhaust and link pipe

Fifth - reference to the stock exhaust, hangers are a touch shorter, which just furthers the problem

I'll be calling Dinan in the morning to troubleshoot and will report back. I can make the pipes "fit", but only by pulling on the hangers more than what should be acceptable.

Non Pano-roof doesn't have the V-brace.

Your cut is too short.

Did you cut by the dimple cutting mark?

This is a picture from the install that I did on Saturday.

I cut where the pictured instructed us to cut. If the instructions are faulty, that should probably be addressed. If anything, I cut about 1/2" past the marked cutting line that was in the how-to.

If I remember correctly, the instruction says to cut at the cutting mark or dimple set by BMW.
I don't think the picture that they used is a go to indication on where to cut. I believe it just used as illustration, not exactly where to cut.

Edit: just re-read the instruction again. It says as what I mentioned, except it didn't defined where is the factory cutting point. I knew it because I know how BMW marked the cutting point.
