This sound amazing!
I am not a huge fan of the loud pops and gurgles and this has just enough of those! |

The exhaust acoustics are good enough to place family budget in disarray.

Sounds great. Not a value proposition for me and I can afford it.

Why do so many of these exhaust systems sound so "blatty?" Like they are tuned for too much midrange sound or something like that. This one is nowhere near as bad sounding as the Eisenmann video of the X3M linked in this thread (absolutely horrible sounding - though being in a big garage may have something to do with the poor sound).
Check the recent vids on the new Dinan exhaust for the M340i. To my ears, that sounds a lot better. Maybe I'm just getting old . . . plus my first car was a 1971 Dodge Challenger with a bored and stroked 340 V8. Two mufflers and two resonators and it still shook the ground and set off every car alarm that was set too sensitive as I idled past. Plus it just sounded so good when revving |

I enquired for their Australian pricing and is as follows, granted the Aussie dollars are really shit at the moment but it's still way too expensive in my opinion.
Catback system AUD$7,200: - Front pipe (after the cat) - Mid pipe - Muffler with valve (can use factory control) - Silver tips Here are the options for Cat: - Highflow (I'm assuming catless) + AUD1800 - 100 or 200 cell cat + AUD2300 Here are the options for the tips (they wrote as Dual Tips, so I am assuming it's for one side which means you need to double the cost for both sides): - Titanium Blue or Diamond Black + AUD300 - Gold tips + AUD360 - Carbon Fibre + AUD550 App control module + AUD1250 I was very excited for when it was announced but after seeing the price and hearing what it sounds like, you can get more or less the same sound by just going catless and remove the mid-muffler and keeping stock M Performance muffler. |
