X4MC Coming out of the shadows

Hi All,

First of all, thank you to all who have posted on this board! I have been reading in the shadows and making changes based upon other peoples experiences.

About a month ago, I traded in my 2015 M4 Cabrio for a 2020 X4MC with 6,300 miles on it. Living in Seattle, the Cabrio was awesome for 3 months out of the year, but not the most practical car for the remaining months of the year and I am happy I did!

Since purchasing the car, I have made the following modifications after researching on this forum and will share some tips for those considering the same:

1. Installed 265/40 and 295/35 PS4 AS tires. Great setup and no rubbing.
2. Installed an RG Sport mid-pipe. Woke the beast up!
3. Full front PPF
4. Tinted front windows to match rear ones.
5. Mud guards. For those interested, it actually took two sets to get ones that fit properly.
- Proper Front fitment: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
- Proper Back fitment:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
6. Coded full screen Apple CarPlay: https://bimmer-remote.com/products/f...pr_seq=uniform
7. Install Radar Dectector mirror tap via these instructions:

8. Installed tri-color accent at front bumper. Had on M4 for two years and help up really well.

I haven't settled on what is "next" is on my list, but I am sure you guys/gals will give me some ideas.

Very nice X4 MC & I like the simplicity of the build. Thank you for posting that M specific try color stripe link as well. It's a nice touch. And I've heard that mid-pipe really wakes up the volume on sound.

Going any faster than posted speed limit is also illegal.

LOL, new car, don’t feel like voiding warranty right out of the gate.

My motto, life is short. Enjoy every second of it.

And going 5-10mph over posted speed limit doesn't break the law if you didn't get caught.

My dealer did the install and indicated it would not void the warranty.

I mean technically going anything above the speed limit isn't illegal if you don't get caught!
