After being patient and adding an extra week to being able to finally drive my X3M Competition, to ensure protection was in place with full Xpel, Stek windshield film, full Xpel fusion ceramic including wheels and calipers, it's finally my turn to drive.

X3MCRN If I were going the LCI route this is the exact color & probably the same spec (no pano roof) I would've gone. Although I like my DGM (Dark Graphite Metallic) 2021 X3 MC, this looks nice.

On a side note, please let me know how you like the front windshield protection. I've got Xpel PPF over 80% of my car too & wanted this protected as well.

Looks incredible, so good. Congrats on the ride. You definitely did it right with the PPF + ceramic.

You went with a high quality shop. Most places around here aren't familiar with the Stek stuff film yet for the front windshield.

Looks fantastic!!!

I've got a 2020 Dark Graphite. One thing I find interesting, the LCI changes don't seem to be as prevalent on a darker color. It looks much different than pre-LCI in white/Brooklyn Gray.

Please keep us posted on how that windshield film holds up over time. I have read it is good at first but wears pretty quickly but hoping the tech got better as I would love to have that.

For me it cost $6k for full clear bra xpel 10 (10mil thickness) and ceramic coat.

It was at a friends shop so the ceramic was on the house which includes wheels and tires.

Overall the film saved me against few chips already. Can see few marks where few rocks hit on the front and the film protected the paint well.

Yes film can safe original paint, but does it worse 6k? If it will be 2k then yes but 6k. This is a dilemma for me

On a car most people aren't keeping for more than 5 years, yeah 6k is crazy expensive. Touch up paint is an option. Cheaper, works relatively well, and that 6k you saved could go to something more practical like some nice tires, a tune, and lower springs.

Yes, I prefer to spend money to:
  • Tint
  • headlights protection film
  • MSS springs after first oil change
  • Interior carbon
  • maybe later Brembo front breaks

I'm going to order Dark Graphite with black interior + red calipers
Competition Package,
Executive package,
ventilated seats,
M shadowline lights,

Not sure:
wireless charging
remote engine start
Driving Assistance Pro package
what do you think?

Love the build!

I'm going with the same with the only exception being I'm going with black calipers.

Enjoy!
