Hey , I decided that my Balls were big enough, so today I decided to do my front pads and rotors . I did the rear pads and rotors last month so I figured I would do the fronts also . I used OEM BMW two piece Rotors with Power Stop Ceramic pads . Power Stops bedding process is a little over the top . Go 40 MPH and then brake down to 5 MPH THIRTY TIMES ! With 30 seconds in between for cooling down the brakes. Kind of hard to find somewhere to do this so I did the best I could. Brakes seem to be a lot better then before because I think the Dealership did a pad slap before I got it CPO’d and never bedded them. Sorry for the long post , but I had to adjust my Balls in between a few times.

How did you end up dealing with the rear parking brake? I want to do mine but read I either need a special tool or need Bimmercode to electronically release the brake.

I used BimmerLink to do mine, but if you look online you can see how to do it mechanically by removing the parking brake off of the caliper. For the ease of it it’s worth getting the App and the dongle or the cable setup. I suggest the cable, it’s so much faster especially if you get BimmerCode for coddling.

You can manual release the brake, there is a guide somewhere on how. You have to take off the back then use like a weird star bit

This should help, if you use the search function you will find a lot of your questions answered there .

Cleaned HUGE bird poops off my car. Thats 5 days in a row that I've been shit on even with moving parking spots. They manage to aim for the hood gaps and get it all inside..what a shitty week 🤬😤

Me too! I washed some off of my car on Wednesday. I’ll have to do so again today. Grrrrr.

Snagged my last free maintenance…. Got the brake fluid flushed. And, a good-ole free walk-around inspection…

On a cool note, the tech thought my car was in pretty good shape… brake pads looked really good, which surprised me (9mm left on fronts, 6mm left on rears - 32K mileage)… and he even complimented my Alpina dash display. 😎

It appears you have an outstanding dealer to work with, more BMW Dealerships should be this way.

I actually looked up "why bird poops on cars"...there is an entire study behind it! Red is the most pooped on, followed by black and blue. Green the least..

The more shinier and reflective it is, the higher chance of birds aiming for it.

This is really getting to you, isn’t it?

My theory is they know who actually gives a poop about their cars, and then they, well… poop.
