X4 35d - Switzerland
Picture update on page 2
Hi guys I wanted to show you my ride. I got it last week from my dealer 2 weeks earlier than expected. These first picts are with my winter wheels/tires on, because my ordered summer wheels are still in production. I'll update these thread when I have them! Plans for the near future: - Performance Box from "Manhart tuning" with 374 HP/740 NM (already received. Installation probably next week). - Summer wheels (22") - Suspension to get it lower (maybe Airride or Bilstein), have to inform me first - Exhaust system (left and right end pipe) Last edited by Richi0303; 07-17-2015 at 03:18 PM.. |

Thanks Tjalle. Yes I know but I think this exhaust will not fit to this already existing system for the current models. And to be honest, the fist "spy picts" from the X4M or X4 40i or whatever it will be, looks not not that nice and sporty like it usually does from BMW (for example the E92 335i/d). But let's see

Car is gorgeous! The winter wheels look good. Those weren't an option when we ordered. Love the white with the interior! Hope you enjoy it!! Looks great!

Nice car, congrats!
How are you finding the boot space? Is it comparable to a 3 series touring? Could you fit a reasonably large dog in? How about a bench for the dog? Could you post some pics of the boot? Thanks!

Congrats, looking good! But please put that licence plate in the right spot, it does not look any better this way.

Wich is what everyone does all over Europe.
We are already blessed in Switzerland to have such small licence plates, but I just think it looks out of place where it is. |

@MikeRR/Yocal: Yes I know, the place where the licence plate is right now is unusual. But hard to find any other places that the regular way. I didn't want to smash that pretty bumber look in the front.....

I'm sorry, I'm sure I'm in a minority here, but what the heck do those rims look like? Ruined the car totally, looks like a daft Hot Wheels car you buy for £1 from the supermarket. Alloy wheels should be....well....alloy-wheel coloured?
I liked it better just how it came from the factory, with the M-Sport alloys. Last edited by robwoods; 09-30-2014 at 11:10 AM.. Reason: Extra info |

Richi: I admire your attitude- although not your wheels ) - but that is OK with me - you bought them for yourself. I stick to my 310.
A tip: I believe X4 is somewhat like a coupe on stilts - I will lower mine 35 mm by installing H&R springs - same as for X3- which will transform it to an "ordinary" coupe. There is a picture on H&R homepage. Can be bought cheap from Germany. Installation is expensive though. |
