Leasing expectations, quotes, etc

Based on my chronic disease of buying new cars every couple of years as well as my local 10% sales tax rate, I'm probably going to lease an X3M. What is the expectation on how these might lease in the first year? If you have a quote let us know the details.

Personally I am hoping for <$1000/month zero down 36/12k on X3M comp. Is that high? low? Who knows I guess.

Garage List
Lease for a 2019 X3 M40i (sticker mid 60s) is in the $800-900's per month with zero down - I would guesstimate you would be looking at $1200-$1300 month (but as you said, who knows!!)

If the residuals are consistent with the X3 M40i (like with 3 series and M3), then an $82k MSRP car with a 5-6% discount should be roughly $1060 with nothing down and CA sales tax for 10k miles

I had one on order and changed directions because I'm anticipating the lease prices to be >1k/mo for a 82k-ish X3M-comp.

reasons:
-initially, i dont expect too many dealers to offer a discount because demand will be high
-X3Mc residuals not inline with standard X3. Maybe X3M will? So far M5 and M5C have different residuals
-BMW incentives to be low. Right now =1250 + 500.

I'm hoping that i'm wrong because I would love love love a TO X3Mc but certainly don't want to pay more than 1k/mo and minimum down. I'm sure BMW will reveal their strategy soon shortly after BYO updates.

M5 vs M5C is a unique situation I suspect.

RV should be close to regular X3, then put the options you want to come up with the MSRP and selling price, good luck trying to get it under MSRP on the first batches of allocations.
The biggest issue is MF, no sponsor dealer folks on the internet will confirm what the base MF due to gag order from BMWNA/BMWFS. I know, It was 0.001875 last year but who knows what it is now.
With all that you should be able to narrow it down to within +/- $50/month using leasehackr

82k MSRP at 77k drive off (which would be a super generous discount for a new model) is coming in about $1,060 a month at 59% w/ .177MF with a 2k rebate. I think north of $1000 should be expected. Makes me realize how spoiled i was with my M3 at .135 AND 63%.

Yeah I'm adjusting my expectations now hoping to not see $1200/mo pre-tax. Additionally it's making me question if I want to lease vs buy or even have a >$1000/mo car payment at all. I just want the whole package that the X3M provides and unfortunately that's relatively expensive.

My dealer said it’d be about 1200 — he’s a straight shooter and this was after I closed the deal on my new 7. Implication being that they won’t haggle too much and will also skim extra by bumping MF —dealers are allowed to increase MF over published numbers. Just ask the folks who are leasing X5’s

Looking at the X3 lease rate thread... bmw posted lease residual numbers for 2020 x3, considering the only 2020 x3 that could hit dealers in May will be the x3m I am assuming those numbers were meant for the M??

I thought the X3M and X4M couldn't be released by dealers for sale until July 1.

I'll be looking into the X3MC and if it comes to $1200 per month I can't justify spending that when for $100 more I can get a M5 (non comp) and for less a M550i. I'm hoping $1000 - $1100 tops given current M3 leases and BMW's lineup. My current M3 is under $1K and I feel going to a X3MC in its current form will be a downgrade, so definitely not looking to pay much more then I am now.

I agree that we should get at least 5% off before incentives. If I'm going to play the game it will be guns blazing looking for 10%. As also noted above, we're looking at nearly M5 lease $$$$.

Noticed that too. Allocation hasn't even been released to dealers yet for X3 M so I'm guessing we wont be seeing them hit dealers until end of June/July at this point. I don't know why production start has been delayed, should of started in April.
