Bridgestone or Pirelli? (19in)
Which tires did your X3 come with it? Looking for those with 19in 887’s.
I’ve heard great things about the Pirelli’s and I think they look nicer imo. What determines which tires get put on? Geographics? |

I'm not sure what decides which brand of tire is used but I don't think it's geographical . In these times, it's probably whatever they can get there hands on at the time .I'm in the US and I have a 2018 G0i XDrive that was originally fitted with Bridgestone Dueler 19" RFT . I'm having my car serviced right now and the 2022 X3 G0i loaner they gave me has Pirelli 19" RFT's on it . I've always like the Pirelli's better.Just my thoughts. Where did the fog lights go on the 2022 X3's ??

My X3 was delivered late January 22 and came with the 19" Pirelli tires. So far no complaints about them but they only have a little over 2000 miles on them.

My X3 30e, built in the US and delivered to the UK came with the Bridgestone Alenza 001 non-run flats. I was originally disappointed, having preferred to have Pirelli, but they have been absolutely fine.

While I appreciate the OP asked about 19in rims, I've got 20s, just replaced a set of Pirelli P-Zero runflats at 37,500 miles - with the same tyre. Could have gone another 1000-1500 miles, but the edges on one were wearing because tracking was out. Been delighted with their longevity.
We've got Pirelli P7s (RFT) on a Cooper S, and they are great tyres too. |

Mine came with the Bridgestone and have just switched the rears to the Pirelli P Zero @ 38k miles, the fronts will be a few weeks yet. Time will tell if the Pirelli ones last as long but as mine is a lease car I'm not bothered.

I also have replaced (after wear out) original Alenzas to Pirelli P Zero. And disappointed. First, with Pirellis installed so called Ackermann effect came out, nothing dangerous but nasty. That effect have diminished with the tyre wear which is the second drawback. Those Pirelli P Zeros really wear out really fast. Third, those Pirellis are much noisier than BS's Alenzas. Certainly, not Pirellis in the future for X3 although they were likely the best tires in the motorcycle. Both with non -RFT.
