Hah, totally different car

Gas p3dal response is... not to my taste. But have to adjust it.
Also there is so much options in BM that it takes time to get everything fine tuned

But as said, overall really happy with result

Here's what I have setup on mine and like it. My wife didn't care for the throttle response on the OTS map, feels like you tap the pedal and it's full throttle. Hope this helps.

1y and 3d of ownership.
No issues, just driving about 12000km

Of course today when washing a car, noticed some asfalt or other shit in front bumber.
Showing pressure washer to it.... and fuck, it was broken paint because of stone chip or etc.

That sucks, wet sand it, tape, piant/clear coat. It's fairly easy for plastic. Take your time and you will be fine.

I will go and show it to my painter... I also think that it should be quite easy to fix.
But still it sucks. Also one idea is to call insurance company and told that I did drive over a rabbit or something... And then paint whole bumper

Nothing special over here. Around one month before 2 year of ownership, I did get 20 000km on clock my own driving the M40i.

Also yesterday pulled trigger to xHP Stage 2, but initally things did not go well... https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showt...1758472&page=5

But today everything fixed, and xHP installed. Tiny test drive done, and works like a charm.
With Sport+, 8hp feels sooooo different than before. Changes are so fast, even with out-of-the-box tune

Also E39 M5 was taken out from winter sleep 2 weeks back.
My plan is to built new garage in this summer, and work should start in ~month. And when I start, I will drop my M5 back to winter storage as it would be just in the way when building. Before that have to take it to the yearly inspection.

I’ve never seen or heard of this color X3? In some photos it looks gray or silver ash but others look light gold or beige? What is this official color and what does it look like in person? Looks like it changes color in certain lighting conditions? Was this a special color for 2018?

Colour Sonnenstein metallic in German. So Sunstone Metallic in english.
And yes, it really looks silver/gold/beige in different light. Like it a lot
Also it will not look so dirty than it really is

I think in Europe this was some special offer colour from individual map back in the days. Also as this has been built in 10/18 it is really sold as YM 2019 over here.

It was an Individual Color option in 2018 in Canada and the US. As mailman said, it hides the dirt very well. When clean, it has more gold than the former Mineral Silver in my opinion.
