Brooklyn Gray is the new Phytonic Blue!!
When I ordered my MY21, almost every other order in the forum was Phytonic Blue.
Now it seems like everyone is ordering BG. Also I love that MY22 has black wheel options.

Tbh I don’t know if it was included in premium 2 or if it was standalone for the x30 but I would have paid for it either way, along with HK audio.
Took delivery today. Still no HUD (which I don't care about) or passenger lumbar (also don't care). Came from loaded '18 X3 and am shocked but how much of an upgrade this feels like.

Did care about no HK but so far the speakers seem fine.

That's good to hear, My X3 is currently in "Entering Assembly line", and I kept seeing posts with people complaining about the HiFi System.

I wish I could have gotten the more advanced Driving Assistance stuff, but I can live without it as this vehicle will be a hell of an upgrade from my current one.

Do you have an x30 or m40?

Question for the group re: brokers. I am finally ready to pull the trigger and build-to-order a 23 X4m40i. Obviously, this is not a great time for getting a great 7-10% below retail, as was the pre-pandemic target. But I've read here that some of you have used brokers, and I'm curious as to how that service works. And how it might or might not work in the current low-supply climate. Can any of you provide guidance, or describe your experience, or, if you can highly recommend a broker, point me in the right direction.

Incidentally, I can fly anywhere to pick up the car - so I have flexibility and perhaps that will help the situation.

thanks.

I used a broker for my M8 and got 2k off. I'd never used one before and wasn't familiar with them. Basically he's buddies (works with) several dealers on the east coast and because he buy so many cars from them (brings them so many customers) they will give him a discount and because he works with several dealers there is more chance of him finding one that has an allocation. I talked to him about an X3 M40 and he didn't sound all as excited about the prospects. His fee is $499. He thought maybe he could get $1k off.

OK thanks. I'm already getting offers for about $3K below (with military/USAA) + an additional incentive, so it seems as though a broker may not add much value.

I tried to use USAA with my M8 and there no USAA deals for 23's, unless you are looking at a 22 that is. And USAA can't be combined with loyalty so it seems to be one or the other and if you do USAA I think you have to do outside financing which will likely be higher rates. I see USAA advertises rates "as low at 2.69%" but I don't know what rate you actually end up getting. I was going to call them tomorrow to see what they say.

End of my story: The dealer I went with ended up offering me 5.5% below MSRP for a nearly-fully loaded 2023 X4m40i. Not a spectacular pre-pandemic sort of deal, but pretty decent I think.

I had the advantage of going to several dealers, and this local one was the only one who went more than $2000 below MSRP. Interestingly, this dealer had a smaller inventory than other dealers around the country (I tried calling the biggest dealers in NC, TX, IL and FL, assuming they had more leeway) and they would not budge.

If you end up finding anything about the financing w USAA, please let me know. I'm sure rates are going to be worse when my car is finally out of production, so I probably want to lock in something soon.

I just finished my USAA paperwork last night and last step is going into the dealer. You can currently get as low as 2.89% w/auto-draft for all term lengths. No idea though if this rate is going to increase for July after the last FED rate hike.

When I go into the dealer to sign paperwork, I plan to take my USAA rate and see if I can haggle with the finance mgr. If he/she wants their commission, they'll have to give me $2k off & match my interest rate with no add-ons.

Which dealer is this? 5.5% discount on a M40i is really good.

In this buying environment it's actually unheard of tbh

I thought peeps were happy to be paying msrp w/ no premium added

5.5% off is a killer deal right now

I was looking at my USAA loan paperwork since I presume I'll likely be heading into the dealer next week to complete paperwork. I have a correction on the USAA rates that "I" received couple weeks ago: 2.94% for 12-63 mos, 3.04% for 72 mos, 3.24% for 75 mos, 3.99% for 84 mos.

Granted current rates have shifted per USAA website by +0.25%.
