Coding via E-Sys.
Same steps as the F15 X5.

I have coded a bunch of my customer's F90 M5 with hot red ambience light. I also did it on my G30 540.

Got some time to upgrade the woofer to BavSound.
I still have the whole StageOne to do, not enough time today.

Just did the BavSound StageOne upgrade over the weekend.
This one is noticable difference. Much more clarity.

So not much a difference with the subs? I was thinking about getting these because I'm disappointed in bass in the system, definitely does not have the same punch my F80 system had.

As I mention, tough call since it is still brand new. Need sometime for it to be broken in.
In my experience on my F06 650 and G30 540, it does improve.
I have to break them in first.

Winter Wheels

My winter wheels and tires finally arrived. Thank you Tirerack. I got the car just before Christmas and it has been sat in my garage since then. Summer tires do not work (i.e., lethal) this time of year where I live. Scorpians 255/45/20, 285/40/20 on Asanti ABL22 20x9 +35, 20x10.5 +38. Bathroom scale weights (compared to stock 20's + zeros) 60.8 lbs (vs 67.6 lbs) and 64.8 lbs (vs 71.6 lbs). These were the only wheels actually in stock but I am pleased with how they look. I particularly like the dish on the rears and how they show off the brake calipers. Not many people seem to be going with 255/45 fronts and 285/40 rears but I think it is a good compromise (wider than 265/40, better fit on 10.5 wheels, still within 1% of fronts, and no need to go to a 35 profile).

Looking good planning on doing chrome delete on some of your parts?

Chrome delete

Thank you for the compliment SM2. Of all the colors, I think the chrome grill surround looks ok with phytonic blue. Having said that, I have a gloss black grill and fender vents on order. The vents I feel will definitely look better all black, particularly with the silver wheels. If I prefer the all black look, I will also change the emblems.

Looks good! I will be installing my winter wheels and tires when I get it back from the PPF and ceramic coat on Saturday.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes silver wheels

Just an FYI, Pirelli had a $70 rebate in December (I think it ended 12/15).

They allow post mark by 1/14 (no online submission I can find).

I totally forgot about it so I will send it snail mail with return receipt this week so they can’t claim it wasn’t received.
