To de-badge or to not de-badge that is the question
As the title says I’m unsure wether to de-badge my car when I get it.
I’ve de-badge all my previous cars as I like the clean look. Just wondered if any of you guys had done it? Cheers Steven |

I would probably debadge the regular M but leave the X3M COMPbadge because you know fan boy here
Previously debadged the X3 from the m40i Currently fully debadged the x4 30i |

Kinda funny when you think about it...... So many people with M sport BMWs trying to Amp up their badges while so many full M owners trying to debadge. What an odd paradigm.

I am keeping mine. I need to entice some TrackHawks and AMG's to race me

Since debadging reduces the car's weight and provides marginally better acceleration (real world tests are yet to be written up), I can certainly appreciate these benefits. To be fair, I haven't decided to take advantage of debadging.

Personally I think BMW is going over board on marketing the M badge.

Funny a decade ago we made fun of Japanese cars that had several badges and decals on every corner and BMWs were classy with only the roundels and a number on the back that actually correlated to the engine size
