People who never owned a RWD 6 cylinder car, this is the time

BTW, are we going to see a RWD 2GC based on this platform?

100%. Especially the M2 which doesn't really appeal to the badge whores who prefer M4s and M5s.

Compared to modern BMWs and modern cars in general, the M2's steering is adequate for me.
M2 steering is one thing...but it's also well insulated. My friend had M2C...the exhaust feels like it's 2 blocks away....these cars should be more raw....just my opinion
With more and more noise regulation, unlikely?

M5 could be more raw but it would probably miss it's target audience by miles

You mentioned in an earlier thread that the kidney grille won’t be as large as the G80.Will the kidney grille be any larger than the CSL Hommage.

Not from outside...I mean at least whatever the car is doing outside, it should feel inside.

BMW design has a disconnect across their lineups. Some cars have HUGE grilles while others don't. Crazy thing is the new 3er has the updated conjoined grille while the 4er is getting the saloon door front end.

But, there's still hope that the next gen 2er won't have a monstrosity of a grille. At least I 'hope' so.

no worries; there is still time for them to add a terrible ZF 8 speed slushbox into the mix to ruin everything.

Agreed. But given the direction BMW has taken since the start of this decade I'm just glad they still make a car like the M2 since literally nothing in their portfolio feels "raw" anymore.

Not like BMW had the best DCT in town, when you drove ZF8 and left it in auto, how often do you find it to be in the wrong gear?

I have found it's a lot less responsive to my input when I prefer to drive way more aggressive.

As long as it doesn't come with that ugly elongated M4 grill then this is very good news indeed.

The next M2 will have its own elongated grille, but this M2CS will escape the new grilles.

Even Mercedes started using 7spd DCTs. I don't know why bmw moved away from them in their performance cars.
